Introduction
Welcome to GTC Matrimony. We are deeply honored that you have entrusted us with your family's search for a life partner. We understand that a matrimonial search requires sharing deeply personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains the personal information used for the service, access restrictions, and ways to contact us about privacy. Applicable privacy rights and obligations are preserved.
The Information We Collect
To help you find a meaningful, faith-centered union, we ask for information that accurately represents your family's values and background.
- Account Information: Your name, email address and mobile number used for registration and communication.
- Profile Details: Information you provide about the candidate and family, including date of birth, location/residency, marital status, education, profession, family background, denomination, faith and partner preferences. Profiles may be managed by the candidate or a family representative.
- Photographs: Primary and gallery photographs submitted for the profile and review.
- Supporting Documents: Where supporting identity documents are submitted for review, the application supports Aadhaar, PAN, passport, driving licence, voter ID and overseas identity documents. This does not mean each document is required or that every member undergoes government-ID verification. Submission does not confer a public Verified badge.
- Activity and Support Data: Information associated with saved profiles, contact-access requests, search preferences, reports and support or grievance requests, including submitted evidence and transaction references where relevant.
Profile Visibility & Contact Privacy
Profile and photo access follows platform approval, eligibility and membership rules. Members can pause their profile and block members using the available controls. These actions do not provide individual photo hide/blur controls.
- Public Access: Member profiles and photographs are accessed through protected member routes. Access restrictions do not guarantee that information cannot be copied by an authorized viewer or appear outside the service.
- Profile Eligibility: Access to another profile depends on its publication and approval, active account/lifecycle, completion and photo requirements, and pause/block restrictions. Owners can access their own profile under the applicable account rules.
- Contact Privacy: Contact details require a separately reviewed and approved contact-access request and current access eligibility. Payment or a membership listing does not automatically disclose contacts.
- Photo Privacy: Eligible approved Basic viewers may receive blurred approved photographs. Clear photographs for other members require an eligible active Personal Assistance membership with photo-view permission and applicable media-access checks. The target profile must be visible and the photo approved with a usable active current asset. Mutual blocks prevent access. Owners may view their own photographs under owner rules. Members cannot individually hide or blur particular photographs or choose a list of approved photo viewers.
Supporting Documents and Profile Review
- Review: The application supports private supporting-document storage and authorized administrative review. The team may request supporting information for profile review. Providing documents does not guarantee identity, character or suitability.
- Private Documents: Supporting identity documents are stored with administrative visibility; they are not included in ordinary member profile presentation. Submission or review does not create a public government-ID Verified badge. Families should independently verify relevant information before making a commitment.
Analytics & Cookies
- Service Activity: The application processes activity and support information for service operation. This is not proof that hosting, external services or future changes never collect identifiers.
- Cookies and Storage: Authentication and onboarding cookies and browser storage support sign-in, route handling, plan intent and other service state. See the Cookie Policy for information about cookies and browser storage. Browser storage includes account display data and verification context; it should not be described as entirely non-personal.
Retention and Deletion
We retain account, profile, family, photograph, document, support and historical transaction information for the purposes for which it is needed and applicable legal obligations. You may request access, correction, deletion or information about retention at gtcmatrimony@gmail.com, subject to applicable rights and lawful retention requirements.
Account or profile removal does not immediately erase all associated records or backup copies. Certain deleted profile fields may be anonymized through administrative cleanup; this does not remove every account, document, payment or support record. Backup copies are handled separately from active records.
Your Rights & Control
You are the steward of your own data. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or withdraw consent for certain personal data processing.
- Access & Export: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting our support team.
- Correction: You can update or correct profile inaccuracies from your dashboard.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to legal and security retention obligations.
- Withdraw Consent: You may opt out of promotional communications. We may still send essential service messages, such as password resets and security notices.
How We Protect Your Data
- Application Access Controls: The application uses authenticated routes, role and eligibility checks and restricted media access. These controls do not guarantee that every unauthorized disclosure or security incident can be prevented.
- Transport and Storage: No security measure eliminates every risk. Please contact gtcmatrimony@gmail.com with questions or concerns about the security of your information.
- Sharing and Recipients: Personal data may be processed by authorized service personnel and the hosting, transactional-email or payment services involved in applicable service functions.

Public Profile Previews
You may separately authorize GTC Matrimony to display a limited preview of your matrimonial profile to visitors who are not signed in. With updated explicit permission, it may contain your Profile Code, Bride/Groom category, age in years, height, profile creator category (Self or Family when known), broad location, education, occupation and marital status. Profiles with earlier permission remain limited to the fields described when that permission was given. If separately authorized for the current approved primary photograph, a severely blurred, low-resolution derivative may be displayed. Original photographs, contact details, exact address, date of birth, family contact information, biography, caste, income, religion, verification documents and other private member details are not included.
New self-registration requires active acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy, including approved limited public-preview display. Membership purchase does not itself grant public permission or contact access. Public-preview permission can be withdrawn in Settings after registration. Existing members are not automatically enrolled. Publication requires valid candidate permission, administrator approval and current account/profile eligibility. Parent, guardian, relative or administrator management of an account does not itself establish the candidate's permission for anonymous publication.
For an assisted profile, an authorized administrator may record permission actually obtained from the candidate or an explicitly authorized representative. For identified existing assisted members, an authorized administrator may attest now that prior candidate permission exists, recording the actual administrator, current timestamp, member identifiers and public-preview scope. Unknown historical dates or methods are not invented. A recorded refusal or withdrawal is not overridden without genuinely established subsequent affirmative permission. During assisted activation, the administrator may approve an eligible preview using that recorded permission. An eligible assisted profile without a primary photograph may have a text-only preview with a neutral placeholder. Adding a primary photograph stops that text-only authorization from qualifying; photo-specific permission and review are required before a photograph can become public.
You can withdraw public-preview permission through Public Profile Visibility in Settings. Withdrawal stops future public access and invalidates issued preview-photo links. Renewal requires fresh permission and approval. A photograph replacement requires fresh photo-specific confirmation and review. Content already viewed or copied by others cannot be recalled. We request that public previews not be indexed, but cannot guarantee that third parties will not copy or index publicly available information.
We retain the disclosure version and wording, candidate/member/profile identity, permission source and timestamp, candidate-authority confirmation, any administrator-recorded permission evidence, withdrawal timestamps and administrator decisions in the existing consent/audit architecture, subject to the service's existing retention and applicable-law provisions.
